Since 1923, the world’s oldest active sports car race has been conducted annually in Le Mans, France. It is known as the “Grand Prix of Endurance and Efficiency” and is one of the most renowned automobile events in the world.
The race is organized by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and takes place on the Circuit de la Sarthe, which consists of a mix of closed public roads and dedicated racing sections where racing teams must balance the demands of speed with the cars’ ability to run for 24 hours without mechanical failure.
